HARRY QUINN

Harry Quinn is a guitar-centric music maker mainly influenced by Pop, Soul and Jazz music.

In late 2019 Harry finished constructing a recording studio inside an old horse stable where he self recorded, mixed and mastered his second album, ‚CODE WORDS‘ released in November 2022. His debut album ‚Parallels‘ was released on 7th April 2017. Highlights over the course of over a thousand live shows to date include headline gigs at The Courtyard and Live At St John’s in London and a live performance on BBC Three Counties Radio.

Harry’s June 2023 collaborative single ‚Oh No‘ with Joe Singo (@joesingo) received support from Apple Music curated playlists and his new singles project began in October 2023 with the release of his self produced song ‚Hi‘.

EATING & DRINKING?
The Ruby Lucy offers a bar with a large selection of drinks at moderate prices. For the small appetite there is a selection of snacks. However, cash payment is not possible.

Why ADMISSION FREE?
We want every person to have access to great live music events. Above all, this should not fail because of money. And that’s why we don’t charge admission to any of our concerts. Of course, we also have to cover our costs and pay fair fees to the musicians for their performances. That’s why we pass around our artist hat at all our concerts. You are welcome to donate money to the artist in this hat. Of course only if you like it and your situation allows it! This way you can do something good for the artist and for other concert-goers who otherwise would not have enough money to attend concerts. The content of the hat goes 100% to the artists.

Ich bin Nessavans und ich liebe es, meine eigenen Songs zu schreiben. Die Texte sind mir sehr wichtig, denn sie erzählen von meinen Gefühlen und Erlebnissen, oft auf Deutsch und Englisch. Wenn ich am Klavier sitze und singe, möchte ich, dass die Leute in meine Welt eintauchen und die Emotionen spüren. Ich mache auch gerne Covers von bekannten Songs und gebe ihnen meinen eigenen Touch. Es ist einfach schön, mit Musik zu verbinden und die Zuhörer mitzunehmen.

On June 9th, 2023, singer-songwriter Michael Benjamin released his debut album „The World Is Still Beautiful“. Through his guitar playing, heartfelt vocals, and atmospheric soundscapes, he invites listeners into his own world and inspires them to lose themselves in the moment.

Over the past five years, Michael Benjamin has released a series of EPs and singles under his former artist name „Native“. Songs such as „Ocean“ or „Don’t Forget Me“ have been streamed millions of times and used as soundtracks in TV shows and productions on Netflix.

Now he released an intimate sounding debut album for the living room, for fans of Ben Howard, Bon Iver, and Phoebe Bridgers.

Over the past 13 years, she has become a conduit for connection, building communities through her unique approach to music and storytelling. During the lockdown, Ilana became a beacon of hope, singing daily across Hampstead Heath’s lake for three months, her voice uplifting spirits during a time of isolation.

Recognized by the Arts Council for her innovative projects, Ilana has curated and produced numerous creative ventures, including her own cabaret productions, founding the artist retreat The Coach House, and launching the acclaimed weekly music showcase Sessions58. This showcase quickly became a vibrant hub for independent talent, offering artists a platform to shine. Ilana has also expanded her initiatives globally, creating opportunities for emerging artists from Los Angeles to Qatar, while crafting enchanting spaces for connection and artistic expression.

More recently, Ilana has turned her focus to creating meaningful stages for those navigating challenging times. Following the events of October 7th, she traveled to Israel to sing for survivors and families of hostages, offering solace and solidarity through her voice.

Currently, Ilana is working on several musical projects, including The Light Within, an immersive musical production, and songwriting collaborations with renowned international artists such as Miri Mesika in Israel. Her voice is now gracing a range of genres, from gospel projects with industry legends Ronnie Vance (former President of Geffen Music and Interscope) and Michael Michele (former A&R for Motown Records), to Afro House music.

Through it all, Ilana’s mission remains clear: to bring light to the world. With her distinctive voice and heartfelt music, she continues to inspire, connect, and elevate audiences across the globe.

FABIAN HAUPT

Seine Musik nennt er Jubelpop, denn Fabian Haupt lebt Deutschpop mit positiver Energie, Hoffnung und Freude. Die Extremsportart Parkour veränderte seinen Blick auf die Welt und man spürt das in seiner Musik. Er bringt kindliche Neugier und tiefgründige Ernsthaftigkeit in Einklang und schafft den lebensbejahenden Sprung von Angst zu Mut. Seine Poesie, seine animierend, eingängige Stimme und die schiebenden Rhythmen sind der Grund dafür, dass man seine Musik immer und überall mitsingen kann. „Musik ist unsere Chance aufeinander zuzugehen!“ Der Ursprung von Fabians Musik ist das Klavier: Schon mit fünf Jahren spielte er vierhändig mit seinem Vater und lernte daraufhin klassisches Klavier, Jazz-Klavier und Komposition für Orchester. Mit 16 Jahren war er zusammen mit seiner ersten Band eine Woche in der Schweiz auf Tour. Dass er damals zum Frontmann und Sänger wurde, verdankt Fabian einer Partie „Schere, Stein, Papier“. Sein Wunsch, Filmmusik zu schreiben, brachte ihn zum Musikstudium in Düsseldorf, welches er sich durch Parkour-Workshops finanzierte. Inspiriert durch den Lifestyle dieser urbanen Extremsportart schrieb Fabian 2015 im Studium seinen ersten deutschsprachigen Popsong. Nach seinem Bachelor-Abschluss ebnete er 2016 mit einem erfolgreichen Crowdfunding den Weg, um von der Musik leben zu können. Er gewann 2017 mit seiner Band den Newcomer Förderpreis „Citybeats“ des Kulturamtes der Stadt Düsseldorf und in den letzten 4 Jahren vor der Pandemie spielte Fabian deutschlandweit knapp 500 Konzerte.

NILO ist eine japanische Sängerin, die derzeit in München lebt.
Sie debütierte in Japan als Bossa-Nova-Sängerin und baute dort ihre Karriere auf.
Seit 2011 lebt sie jedoch in Deutschland und singt zunehmend japanische Lieder. Dabei entwickelte sie eine große Leidenschaft für den City-Pop der 1980er Jahre und tritt nun mit Coverversionen von City-Pop und Anime-Songs auf verschiedenen japanischen Festivals und Anime-Conventions in ganz Europa auf.

Die deutsch-amerikanische Sängerin, Songwriterin und Produzentin hat sich das Klavier- und Gitarrenspiel selbst beigebracht. Sie hat an der Universität München studiert und hat einen Master-Abschluss in Musikwissenschaft. In New York geboren, mit 6 Jahren nach Deutschland gezogen. Aufgrund von jahrelanger Misshandlungen, lief sie dann mit 16 Jahren von zu Hause weg und war auf sich allein gestellt. Ihr Song „Don’t go missing“ wurde mit dem Grammy-nominierten Songwriter & Produzenten Kyle K2 Stewart II produziert und gewann 2016 den Deutschen Rock&Pop Preis. Im Jahr 2017 stand sie dann im Finale von The Voice of Germany, was ihr die Zusammenarbeit mit Demi Lovato, Kelly Clarkson, Ed Sheeran und Yvonne Catterfeld ermöglichte. Im Jahr 2022 veröffentlichte sie ihr erstes Afro-Soul-Album „Golden State of Mind“.

SUN WAY STREET

Sun Way Street is a indie folk/rock band consisting of singer-songwriter Steven Eli and multi instrumentalist Leor Manelis.

In 2020, the duo met online amidst a pandemic while trying to stay creative during a very uncertain time in the world. Steven, hailing from Ireland and Leor residing in the mountains of Colorado, connected remotely and have been writing songs together, even releasing an LP in 2022 called “You”. Fast forward to 2023, Steven hopped on a plane and flew to Colorado to meet Leor in person for the very first time. Within hours of meeting, they were tracking inspired tracks in Leor’s studio and later moved to local hotspot Coalesce Audio Studios with master Engineer David Wilton to finish out the songs.

The debut album “Planted Heart” was released on 9.27.24 which features 11 beautifully written songs, recorded with an international ensemble of musicians.

WARUM EINTRITT FREI?
Wir wollen, dass wirklich jede Person Zugang zu tollen Livemusik Veranstaltungen hat. Dies soll vor allem nicht am Geld scheitern. Und deswegen verlangen wir keinen Eintritt zu all unseren Konzerten. Natürlich müssen wir aber auch unsere Kosten decken und vor allem den Musikern faire Gagen zahlen für Ihre Auftritte. Deshalb lassen wir bei allen Konzerten unseren KÜNSTLERHUT herumgehen. In diesen kannst Du gerne Geld für den Künstler spenden. Natürlich nur wenn es Dir gefällt und es Deine Situation zulässt! So kannst Du dem Künstler etwas Gutes tun und anderen Konzertbesuchern, die sonst nicht genug Geld haben, um Konzerte zu besuchen. Der Inhalt des Hutes kommt zu 100% den Künstlern zugute.

KIANJA

Born in North-East London, Kianja was raised on a musical diet of Soul, Reggae and Jazz. Her obsession for songwriting and performing began at aged 12 before moving to Durban, South Africa for three years as a teenager. Embracing a new culture, her love affair with Jazz took hold and she began to hone her songwriting craft. A few years later she returned to London, where she attended the coveted Brit School, Tomorrow’s Warriors and then Guildhall (where she studied Jazz), all alongside writing and producing her original material in her bedroom.

Her undeniable talent and hard work brought the young Londoner overwhelming critical support. Her debut EP ‘Glory’ led to support across BBC Radio 1, Rinse FM and 1Xtra and a feature with Bastille and Craig David on a cover of En Vogue’s, ‘Don’t Let Go’. Kianja’s independent releases (since 2023) have been featured on New Music Friday and several other Spotify playlists, as well as M&S and Body Shop national in store playlists. She has had BBC 1xtra and BBC Radio airplay several times throughout 2023 and 2024.

Her impeccable live performances also earned her a personal recommendation from Nile Rodgers to perform at Meltdown Festival at the London Southbank. She’s also performed at some of London’s premiere venues including Ronnie Scotts, Colors Hoxton and Royal Festival Hall. 2024 shows include: Cafe Koko, All Points East Festival, Somerset House on The Strand, We Out Here Festival, Koko Ellens Room. Kianja has also been touring (2024 UK dates) with Jordan Rakei as a backing vocalist (Glasto, Love Supreme, Royal Albert Hall).

Kianja will be releasing her 4th EP, ‘Chapter 4’, in 2025. The project is about stepping into womanhood, confronting trauma and drawing boundaries. She describes her sound as a melting pot of all her influences – R&B, Soul, Jazz and Reggae are usual base ingredients. Kianja writes honest and relatable lyrics with singable hooks. “I like to make music that feeds both the musician in me and the little girl from North London singing karaoke in her room.” Kianja says.

IS THIS A CONCERT OR DINNER MUSIC?
Quite clearly: concert! With the concerts we want to promote newcomer musicians with their own music, bring new music to the people, eat something good and have a great time with other people. For this to work, you should also listen to the bands at the concert and get involved with the music. This way, the artists are not disturbed in their performance and the other guests are not disturbed while listening – and nothing stands in the way of a unique concert evening for everyone!

EATING & DRINKING?
The Ruby Lucy offers a bar with a large selection of drinks at moderate prices. For the small appetite there is a selection of snacks. However, cash payment is not possible.

Why ADMISSION FREE?
We want every person to have access to great live music events. Above all, this should not fail because of money. And that’s why we don’t charge admission to any of our concerts. Of course, we also have to cover our costs and pay fair fees to the musicians for their performances. That’s why we pass around our artist hat at all our concerts. You are welcome to donate money to the artist in this hat. Of course only if you like it and your situation allows it! This way you can do something good for the artist and for other concert-goers who otherwise would not have enough money to attend concerts. The content of the hat goes 100% to the artists.
