LUCIE DANS LE CIEL
Sacha Navarro-Mendez from Lyon plays different styles of piano and keys, from classical interpretation to improvisation noise, jazz, song and even baroque music on harpsichord. She released her first two EPs “Tako Tsubo” and “Three” under the pseudonym Lux’s Dream (L’Affect Records, Archipel). Today, she sings mainly in French and that is why she has chosen to present herself with a new name _lucie dans le ciel, but always in this same universe: dreamlike, a little dark, and yet diaphanous and colored with fragments of synthesizers. In 2022, she releases her first LP “Ombres” (Microcultures), which takes root in the exploration of her own shadow zones.
“Sauvage et Vivante”, her new album, addresses multivoque themes, from feminism to chosen solitude, from polyamory to the exaltation of first encounters, from ecology to our emotional relationship with nature. Lucie dans le ciel offers us here an indie pop always airy and psychedelic contrasted by a more raw energy, inspired by artists such as PJ Harvey, Chris Clark, Hania Rani, Dominique A, Halo Maud. With this album, lucie dans le ciel marks again her way of a new musical formula where she does not deprive herself of anything, does not censor herself, where she is definitely wild and alive.

FOOD & DRINKS?
Ruby Claire offers a bar with a wide selection of drinks at moderate prices. For the small appetite there is a selection of snacks. However, cash payment is not possible.
We want to hear the music! That’s why we kindly ask you to be considerate when ordering drinks. Please order beverages that are noisy to prepare, like coffee or cocktails, before the performance starts or during breaks. You’ll have plenty of time to do so. The artists and the audience will thank you for it!
WHAT IF I DON’T GET ANY TICKETS?
That is of course a pity! But you can still come, because there are always tickets available. Put yourself on the waiting list and get a message when there are free seats.
WHY ADMISSION FREE?
We want that really every person has access to great live music events. Above all, this should not fail because of money. And that’s why we don’t charge admission to any of our concerts. Of course, we also have to cover our costs and pay fair fees to the musicians for their performances. That’s why we pass around our ARTIST’S HAT at all our concerts. You are welcome to donate money to the artist. Of course only if you like it and your situation allows it! This way you can do something good for the artist and for other concert visitors who otherwise don’t have enough money to visit concerts. The content of the hat is 100% for the benefit of the artists.
