CRIS PINZAUTI

Although he was self-taught and only began playing the guitar at 16, he had been writing songs since he was very young.
Soon after, many musical projects, creative collaborations and thousands of concerts throughout Italy and Europe followed.
As a solo artist, since 2008 he spent over a decade performing live in local venues and got billed as a “one man band”; gigs playing his acoustic guitar, with the help of a voice and a loop station, creating the sound of an entire band by himself.
This is how “BLACK” the first album was born in 2015: one voice, one acoustic guitar player.
BLACK is recorded almost exclusively with acoustic guitars, acoustic bass and additional acoustic guitars used in percussion mode.
The album and guitar work are primarily influenced by (unbeknownst to them): Neil Young, Tom Waits, Peter Gabriel, Johnny Cash.
The songs speak of the BLACK or dark side of our lives, that which society labels as “dark”, but in reality is not: …. forbidden love, sex, loneliness, soul searching, cynicism, inner demons, rock and roll.
IN 2017 the new single and new video “I BLEED” is out on iTunes, Orchard, Spotify and YouTube.
In 2018 the recordings of a second album entitled MOONATICA began, which saw the light in March 2022 in the CD version and in June of the same year in digital version in the double Italian and English version.
MOONATICA had been anticipated by the publication of 3 videos:
SHOCK THE MONKEY in 2019, NON ANDAR VIA in 2021 with the featuring of Giuseppe Scarpato (Edoardo Bennato band) and PARAFULMINE again in 2021.
In 2022, MOONATICA was released, a double album with the Italian (luna) and English (moon) versions of the 8 songs that compose it, plus a cover per album which in this case differ: “Qualcuno mi renda l’anima” by Renato Zero and “Shock the monkey” by Peter Gabriel.
Two videos from that album are also released: “Strega” and “Giuda”.
The videos for “Shock the monkey” and “Parafulmine” had already been released.

HÄUFIG GESTELLTE FRAGEN / FAQ

IS THIS A CONCERT OR DINNER MUSIC?
Quite clearly: concert! With the concerts we want to promote newcomer musicians with their own music, bring new music to the people, eat something good and have a great time with other people. For this to work, you should also listen to the bands at the concert and get involved with the music. This way the artists are not disturbed in their performance and the other guests are not disturbed while listening – and nothing stands in the way of a unique concert evening for everyone!

FOOD & DRINKS?
Ruby Bea offers a bar with a wide selection of drinks at moderate prices. For the small hunger there is a selection of snacks. However, cash payment is not possible.

We want to hear the music! That’s why we kindly ask you to be considerate when ordering drinks. Please order beverages that are noisy to prepare, like coffee or cocktails, before the performance starts or during breaks. You’ll have plenty of time to do so. The artists and the audience will thank you for it!

WHAT IF I DON’T GET ANY TICKETS?
That is of course a pity! But you can still come, because there are always tickets available. Put yourself on the waiting list and get a message when there are free seats.

WHY ADMISSION FREE?
We want that really every person has access to great live music events. Above all, this should not fail because of money. And that’s why we don’t charge admission to any of our concerts. Of course, we also have to cover our costs and pay fair fees to the musicians for their performances. That’s why we pass around our ARTIST’S HAT at all our concerts. You are welcome to donate money to the artist. Of course only if you like it and your situation allows it! This way you can do something good for the artist and for other concert visitors who otherwise don’t have enough money to visit concerts. The content of the hat is 100% for the benefit of the artists.
