GERE
Gere, stage name of Geremia Turchi, is a 27-year-old singer, songwriter, musician, performer and poet from Florence, Italy. He first started singing and taking drums lessons at the age of 3, and since 2009 he published 4 albums, including his latest “Il Tempo Che Passa”, released September 21st 2024, as well as a poetry book (“D’Istanti Si Vive”, published with Edizioni Ensemble in June 2024) and a prose text (“Pagine”, self-published May 31st 2024).
During his lifetime he participated in several music contests – including Emergenza Festival and Uno Voice – almost always ending up in the final rounds, as well as local Open Mic venues where he brought his live musical and poetic performances. He also collaborated in 2015 with Massimiliano Larocca and Nada on “The Dreamers Reloaded” project, which later culminated in the song “La Canzone Dell’Amore”, released on her 2016 album “L’Amore Devi Seguirlo”.
By 2023 he began performing at Poetry Slams throughout Italy, reaching various regional semifinals including Tuscany, Friuli-Venezia Giulia and Trentino-Alto Adige.

IS THIS A CONCERT OR DINNER MUSIC?
Quite clearly: concert! With the concerts we want to promote newcomer musicians with their own music, bring new music to the people, eat something good and have a great time with other people. For this to work, you should also listen to the bands at the concert and get involved with the music. This way the artists are not disturbed in their performance and the other guests are not disturbed while listening – and nothing stands in the way of a unique concert evening for everyone!
FOOD & DRINKS?
Ruby Bea offers a bar with a wide selection of drinks at moderate prices. For the small hunger there is a selection of snacks. However, cash payment is not possible.
We want to hear the music! That’s why we kindly ask you to be considerate when ordering drinks. Please order beverages that are noisy to prepare, like coffee or cocktails, before the performance starts or during breaks. You’ll have plenty of time to do so. The artists and the audience will thank you for it!
WHAT IF I DON’T GET ANY TICKETS?
That is of course a pity! But you can still come, because there are always tickets available. Put yourself on the waiting list and get a message when there are free seats.
WHY ADMISSION FREE?
We want that really every person has access to great live music events. Above all, this should not fail because of money. And that’s why we don’t charge admission to any of our concerts. Of course, we also have to cover our costs and pay fair fees to the musicians for their performances. That’s why we pass around our ARTIST’S HAT at all our concerts. You are welcome to donate money to the artist. Of course only if you like it and your situation allows it! This way you can do something good for the artist and for other concert visitors who otherwise don’t have enough money to visit concerts. The content of the hat is 100% for the benefit of the artists.
